This is SO cool!

This is already so cool, and I have just started! I love the rosy greens in the stems against the bold ultramarine blues of the stones. It has a grace. Now the hard part - I need to wait for this part to dry some before I do the flowers and sun/moon.

SO, meanwhile, I will return to my wolves. Remember them? I put the drawings on the blog a week or so ago. SO I will begin the underpaintings. I think it will do them in a grey. Then I will need to decide if I want to paint them in multicolors or more natural hues. Either could be cool- just not sure which do to.

spiritual flowers

I have begun a wonderful painting! I have been painting some flowers lately, but was looking for something a little edgier, something more Bright Art. I brought in these beautiful pink flowers in from my garden for their smell as much as their beauty. They were sitting in my kitchen window, backlit with sunlight, when I took their photo. And I realized that it needed more.
